Understand the
starting condition.
Condition affects appearance, use, and project preparation. Discuss the actual container condition before you commit.
New / one-trip
A container that has generally made one loaded overseas trip. Often selected for a cleaner appearance or a finished conversion. Handling marks, scratches, and small dents may still be present.
Used
Previously operated units with varying service histories. Appearance and repairs vary, so condition should be specified and confirmed rather than assumed.
Wind & watertight
A storage condition description generally indicating that a container keeps weather out when properly closed. It does not by itself establish suitability for occupied use or international shipping.
Cargo-worthy
A description of suitability for cargo service under the applicable inspection criteria. If you need a container for export, request confirmation of current inspection and certification requirements.
